The Sake Navigator Diploma Course

The Sake Navigator Diploma Course is an entry-level professional qualification in sake. Already taught and recognised in Japan, the SSI (Sake Service Institute of Japan) and SSA (Sake Sommelier Association) have collaborated to teach the Diploma in Europe for the first time.

This is a one day course aimed both at the trade and people with an interest in sake or Japanese culture. The diploma teaches the basics of sake: what it is, how it's made, how to serve and sell it, its history and place in Japanese culture. After successfully passing a multi-choice test, participants in this course will hold an internationally recognised qualification in sake.

The course will be taught by Kumiko Ohta and Anna Greenhous.
