Yamatogawa was founded in 1790 in Kitakata city, Fukushima prefecture. The saké here is produced using spring water from nearby Mount Iide along with 100% organic rice. Yamatogawa use only the purest ingredients and employ the most authentic methods in making saké.
In completing their organic supply chain, they also try to establish links with environmentally conscious retailers.
